Key Attributes & Rules
Flexible Installments
Save at your own pace. Installment sizes are available in multiples of 1,000/-, with a maximum monthly installment limit of 25,000/-.
Custom Tenures
Whether you are saving for a mid-term goal or long-term security, choose a deposit period that suits you: 3, 5, 7, or 10 years.
Loan Advantage
Avail a loan of up to 90% of your deposit (minimum deposit balance required is Tk. 100,000/-) at a rate minimum 2.5% above the deposit rate.
Wide Eligibility
Any Individual, Institution, NGO, Club, or Society can avail of this scheme. Accounts can be opened singly or jointly, and you can hold multiple accounts.
Discontinuation Rules
If you fail to pay 3 consecutive installments, the plan will cease. In the 1st year, premature encashment yields no interest (plus a BDT 500/- charge). From the 2nd year, the rate is 5% lower than agreed.
Payment & Security
Pay easily via cash, account payee cheque, or post-dated cheques. Secure your savings by appointing a mandatory nominee to receive funds if necessary.
